A nice one of Mum holding some flowers in the front garden in Ealing. And there’s the birdbath when it was nearly new!

This was some kind of publicity shot for the Post Office by all accounts. Anyway, there’s Mum operating some kind of new-fangled counting machine in a drab and fairly Orwelling setting. The machine is an Underwood Sundstrand adding/accounting machine. I haven’t had much luck tracking down the exact model on Google despite having spent the best part of 30 seconds searching. So we may never know.
